聖歌合唱指揮法 Basic Choral Canducting
前言
教 會 組 織 中 的 各 項 職 務 ， 有 宗 教 教 育 ， 青 年 事 工 ， 探 訪 部 ， 佈 道 部， 音 樂 部 等 。 其 中 育 樂 部門 直 接 或 間 接 地 連 繫 著 其 他 各 部 門 ， 促 進 傳 福 音 的 使 命 。 教 會 的 聖 樂 活動 當然以聖歌團為主體，設有聖歌團的教會意味著教會當局對聖樂的重視。聖歌團的活 動不但可以提高音樂水準，還帶給參加的青年人益處不少。 今舉出幾項如下; 發 揮 青 年 人唱 歌 才幹 及 志 趣 ， 提 供 藉 歌 唱 事 主的 機 會 。 學習群團生活，也就是信徒的幽契。 靈命得栽培，復腿，信仰基礎受建立。 團員可能成為將來教會基本中堅力量。 有的籍聖樂活動而奉獻成為主的工人。 不少青年男女在聖歌團相遇，因志同道合，結成夫婦。 在主日崇拜會 ，通常一小時半時間裏，音樂估有30分鐘: 包括會眾唱詩一至四首，及聖歌團的進堂歌(Intr oit)，頌讚歌(Anthem)，響應頌 (R e s p o n s e )， 奉 獻 頌 (O f f e r t o r y )， 及 司 琴 在 會 前 的 靜 樂 (P r e l u d e )， 會 中 的 樂 段 (Interlude)，會終的散會曲 (Postlude)等等。這半小時音樂的配合，與牧師的講道 有密切開係:特別是儀式的前半部如會眾唱詩，牧師領禱，及讀經等，乃為預備人心 以接受神的信息。講道後，還有唱詩作為響應然後結束崇拜會;音樂在這方面就成為 質串整個崇拜會的媒介，使聚會充滿肠靈的氣氛。除祟拜會外，教會其他活動如青年 嘲契，兄弟團契 ，婦女團契，佈道團喇，播音工作，或特別聚會等，都需要借助於聖 樂。
INTRODUCTION
In each church organization, we find the following ministries: Christian education, youth, visitation, missions, and music. Among all these, the music department binds and coordinates these departments towards the common goal of propagating the Gospel.
The choir si the most important body in the music department. A church that has a choir is a church that gives music an important place ni its activities. The choir si the agency responsible for the upliftment of the musical standard of the church. The benefits it gives its members are as fol- lows:
- Develops their musical talents and provides in- numerable opportunities for them to serve the Lord.
- Enriches their experiences in Christian fellowship.
- It helps in their spiritual growth and contributes to a deeper understanding of their faith.
- Lays the groundwork for future church leaders.
- Encourages them to dedicate their lives for full- time service.
- Provides a place and many opportunities for young men and women to meet, get acquainted and later on to find their life partners.
On the average, in a one-and-a-half hour Sunday Wor- ship Service, the time alloted for music si around 30 minutes. This includes three to four congregational hymns, the In- troit, the Anthem, the Response, the Offertory and also the Prelude, Interludes and Postlude. Al of these are closely related to the minister’s message, giving a spiritual atmo- sphere and preparing the congretion to receive God’s Word.
