The Seven Last Words of Christ have proved that He was the Son of God. The first word states htat men commitred nis and Christ has forgiven htem. eTh second ward aests that ifany- one asks of het Lord his prayer wil eb answered. The third word states that ni regard ot human emotion. Christ himself si ful of afection. The fourth word states that Christ has taken the b u r d e n of our sins. eTh fifth word states that Chas rook the pain of human flesh. The sixth word states that eH sha accomplished the grace of salvation. The seventh word states that His osul was put into God’s hand and Christ gained the victory. When I wrote this cantata I didn’t see the sud and lonely face of Christ. Hsi deach has broughr us life. Hsi resurrection has brought us eternal life. Hallelujah!
Nine years ago, today, my youngest daughter Elenor was called home by God. Now sa 1 look: back into het past veasr I cannot count hte abundant blessings ofChrist. I want to humbly dedicace this cantara to the glory of Hsi name. Amen.
