From my blessed and privileged beginnings of being raised in a loving Christian family by a wonderful mother who was widowed for much of my life, I grew with an increasing sense that God had a purpose for my life, which included a gift for musical improvisation. Overarching this has been an increasing desire for the music I play to fulfill its ultimate and grandest purpose - to worship and glorify the One who is the giver of all things. Often I struggle after a performance, questioning what I played and wondering how well it was received. But then I have to remember and believe and know, that my purpose in Christ is not to seek man’s praise but to glorify the One (and only one) who is my all in all, “the Wind beneath my Wings.” My Prayer is simply “Lord, glorify YOUR NAME in all the Earth”
