   Dia hidup dalam dunia;
   menegur, menghibur,
   mempersatukan, Firman Allah hidup.

2. Firman Allah api,
   kebenaran abadi;
   murnikan, nyatakan,
   hidupkan kasih,
   Firman Allah api.

3. Firman Allah pelita,
   di dalam malam gelap;
   terangi, lindungi,
   tunjukkan jalan,
   Firman Allah pelita.

4. Firman Allah ilham,
   menjawab kebutuhan;
   pisah, arahkan,
   nyatakan keb’naran,
   Firman Allah ilham.

5. Firman Allah hidup,
   hidup dalam dunia;
   berkobar, bercah’ya,
   b’rikan k’benaran,
   Firman Allah hidup.

3. The Word of God is a fire,
   it flames with eternal truth;
   refining, revealing,
   reclaiming our love,
   the Word of God is a fire.

4. The Word of God is a lamp,
   it shines thro’ the darkest night;
   perceiving, perfecting,
   protecting our walk,
   the Word of God is a lamp.

5. The Word of God is inspired,
   it speaks to our deepest needs;
   dividing, directing,
   declaring His truth,
   the Word of God is inspired.

6. The Word of God is alive,
   it lives in the world today;
   it’s burning and shining
   and speaking His truth,
   the Word of God is alive.
