一. 正當牧人看守群羊 ,
天使在歌唱頌揚 ,
在馬利亞懹中安睡 ,
這奇妙嬰孩是誰 ?
Reff : 祂是基督我王 ,牧人同讚 ,
天使歡唱 ;快來向祂頌揚 ,
至聖嬰孩新生王 !
二. 為何臥身卑陋地方,
牛羊驢馬在身旁？
好信徒當敬畏留心,
敬奉賜救恩聖嬰.
三. 奉獻黃金,沒藥, 乳香,
貧富尊卑齊景仰;
萬王之王恩治萬方,
眾民當尊祂為王.

Siapakah Bayi yang tertidur,
lelap di pangkuan Maria?
Di sambut kidung malaikat,
Saat gembala jaga domba?
Reff: Dialah Kristus Raja,
yang disambut pujian m’laikat,
Sembahkan pujian bagi
Bayi Putra Mari!
Lahir dari dara Maria,
Kristus Putra Allah.
Tatkala semua terlelap,
m’laikat menjaga-Nya.
Bintang fajar b’ritakan
kelahiran kudus,
Kemuliaan bagi Allah,
damai ‘tuk manusia.
Dalam kesunyian turunlah
karunia ilahi,
dan tercurah dalam hati
s’mua berkat sorgawi.
Dunia dalam dosa
tak dengar datang-Nya.
Ke dalam hati yang lembut,
Kristus ‘kan masuklah.
SPK 147 What Child Is This, Who Laid to Rest?
What Child is this,
who laid to rest on Mary’s lap, is sleeping?
Whom angels greet with anthems sweet,
While shepherds watch are keeping?
Reff: This, this is Christ, the King,
Whom shepherds guard and angels sing:
Haste, haste to bring Him laud,
The Babe, the Son of Mary!
For Christ is born of Mary,
And gathered all above,
While mortals sleep, the angels keep
Their watch of wond’ring love.
O morning stars, together proclaim the Holy birth,
And praises sing to God, the King,
And peace to men on earth.
How silently, how silently
The wondrous gift is giv’n!
So God imparts to human hearts
The blessings of His heav’n.
No ear may hear His coming,
But in this world of sin,
Where meek souls
will receive Him still,
The dear Christ enters in.
