Sinar fajar yang indah dan cemerlang,
Datang halaukan keg’lapan kami;
Bintang timur memghiasi cakrawala,
Hantarlah pada Bayi Penebus!
Tetes embun
menghiasi palungan-Nya,
Tempat membaringkan
kepala-Nya,
M’laikat memuji
saat Dia tertidur,
Raja Pencipta
Jurus’lamat dunia.
Maukah kita b’rikan
pengabdian tertinggi?
kemenyan Edom,
persembahan kudus,
permata gunung dan
mutiara samud’ra,
mur dari hutan
dan mas dari tambang?
Apalah artinya
pengorbanan kita;
Sia-sialah hadiah,
‘tuk menyenangkan-Nya,
Jauh lebih indah
hati yang menyembah,
Doa tulus dari
hati yang papa.

晨星之中最輝煌 ,彩色光亮 ,
Chénxīng zhī zhōng zuì huīhuáng, cǎisè guāngliàng,
洞照世界 ,消黑暗 ,呈曙光 ;
dòng zhào shìjiè, xiāo hēi’àn, chéng shǔguāng;
東方曉星永燦爛 ,天際輝映 ,
dōngfāng xiǎo xīng yǒng cànlàn, tiānjì huīyìng,
導引我來 ,馬槽邊聖嬰傍 !
dǎo yǐn wǒ lái, mǎ cáo biān shèng yīng bàng!
寒風陰襲,馬槽邊露點晶明,
Hánfēng yīn xí, mǎ cáo biān lùdiǎn jīng míng,
牛馬為伍,頭枕低處聖嬰.
niúmǎ wéiwǔ, tóu zhěn dī chù shèng yīng.
天使頌讚, 歌玲瓏,
Tiānshǐ sòng zàn, gē línglóng, mùrén cuī xǐng,
牧人催醒, 齊來朝覲創造主,救世君.
qí lái cháojìn chuàngzào zhǔ, jiùshì jūn.
我們如何能不獻名貴奇珍,
Wǒmen rúhé néng bù xiàn míngguì qí zhēn,
東方乳香,芬芳騰古銅鼎.
dōngfāng rǔxiāng, fēnfāng téng gǔtóng dǐng.
山中碧玉, 海洋中徑寸明珠,
Shānzhōng bìyù, hǎiyáng zhōng jìng cùn míngzhū,
林間沒葯和地下純黃金?

四.救主的愛不能將奇珍掉換,
Jiù zhǔ de ài bùnéng jiāng qí zhēn diàohuàn,
山海珠玉縱獻主也徒然;
shānhǎi zhūyù zòng xiàn zhǔ yě túrán;
內心至誠比珍寶更加希罕,
nèixīn zhìchéng bǐ zhēnbǎo gèngjiā xīhan,
謙卑虔禱, 主看來更喜歡.
qiānbēi qián dǎo, zhǔ kàn lái gèng xǐhuān.
SPK 132 Brightest and Best of the Sons of the Morning
Brightest and best of the sons of the morning,
Dawn on our darkness, and lend us Thine aid;
Star of the east, the horizon adorning,
Guide where our infant Redeemer is laid!
Cold on His cradle,
the dewdrops are shining,
Low lies His head
with the beasts of the stall;
Angels adore Him,
in slumber reclining,
Maker, and Monarch,
and Saviour of all.
Say, shall we yield Him,
in costly devotion,
Odors of Edom
and off’rings divine,
Gems of the mountain,
and pearls of the ocean,
Myrrh from the forest,
or gold from the mine?
Vainly we offer each
ample oblation;
Vainly with gifts
would His favour secure;
Richer by far is
the heart’s adoration,
Dearer to God are
the prayers of the poor.
